  1. Server Commands

The Market Command

How players can manage, save, and view information about markets on the server

You can use the /market command to view all available market commands. If you are standing in a market, one of the available commands will be the /market info command which can be used to show helpful information about the market including the market's name, trading volume, number of plots claimed, and which villager professions the market has, if any.

Creating Markets

Settlement owners can create a market in their settlement using the /market create command. Additional plots can then be claimed for the market using the /market claim command. Settlement owners can then spawn villagers in their market using the /pet command. There is no hard limit on the number of markets that can be created in a settlement, although markets must be separated from other homes, shops, and markets by at least one plot.

Saving Markets

You can save a market on the server using the /market save command which allows you to conveniently teleport back later using the /market list command.

Changing Market Names

All markets on the server have a unique name which, by default, indicates when the market was created. Markets can be renamed by the settlement owner using the /market rename <name> command. Players can teleport to markets using the /market spawn <name> command.

Changing Market Spawn Locations

Settlement owners can use the /market setspawn command to change the spawn location of their market while standing in any plot claimed by the market.

Locking Markets

You can lock all of the plots claimed by your market using the /market lock command or unlock all of the plots claimed by your market using the /market unlock command. Locking a plot prevents other players from interacting in the plot, while unlocking a plot allows certain interactions, such an opening doors and pushing buttons, but does not allow players to place blocks, break blocks, or access any kind of protected storage such as chests, armor stands, or item frames.

Deleting Markets

Settlement owners can delete their markets using the /market delete command. Deleting a market will delete all of the villagers in the market. If you want to move your market to a different location in your settlement, the server owner may be willing to move the villagers for you.

Removing Entities

Settlement owners can remove entities from their markets using the /market clear command. For example, you can remove all of the items that have been dropped on the ground of your market using the /market clear items command or remove all unnamed mobs (not including villagers) from your market using the /market clear animals command.
