Our agreement with the players of Foundation Craft

Foundation Craft ("us", "we", or "our") is an online game server for Minecraft: Java Edition. By joining, accessing, or otherwise using any of our online game services, including the online Minecraft server (the "Server") you agree to abide by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you (the "Player" or "Players") and the Server. Please read these Terms carefully before joining, accessing, or otherwise using the Server.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1: By joining, accessing, or otherwise using the Server you agree to these Terms and any future changes. If you disagree with any part of the Terms you must discontinue your use of the Server immediately. The Server reserves the right to change these Terms at any time.

2. Age Requirement

2.1 Players must be at least 13 years of age to use the Server. If a player does not meet this age requirement then they may only play on the Server with parental consent and active supervision.

3. Server Rules

3.1: Players must adhere to the Server Rules as outlined and enforced by Server Staff. Players may be kicked, muted, or banned if the staff team determines that the Player violated any Server Rules.

3.2: The Server reserves the right to change or update the Server Rules at any time.

3.3: The Server Mods and Admins are authorized to investigate, mute, and ban Players as they see necessary to protect the Server including in the event that they determine a Player to be conducting themselves in a way which is bad or harmful to the server or in the event that they suspect a new rule should be added which is not currently covered by the Server Rules.

4. Player Conduct

4.1: Players shall not engage in any activity that violates these Terms or the Server Rules.

4.2: Players are responsible for their behavior, conduct, and interactions on the Server at all times.

4.3 Players must conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner while using the Server. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, cheating, exploiting, hacking, or any form of problematic behavior will not be tolerated and may result in being permanently banned from the Server.

4.4 Players are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts. To ensure this, Players agree to keep their account information confidential and not share it with others. Players are solely responsible for any activity that occurs under any of their accounts at any time.

4.5: Players shall not engage in any activity that violates any federal law of the United States, any laws applicable in the State of Oregon where the server is hosted, or any laws applicable to the location of the computer the Player uses to access the Server.

5. Gameplay and Economy

5.1 Gameplay: The Server provides a free-to-play Minecraft server experience. Players may explore, build, and interact with other Players in accordance with these Terms and the Server Rules.

5.2 Economy: The Server features an in-game economy. Emeralds are used as the server currency. Players may participate in trading, buying, and selling virtual items using the in-game currency. Players acknowledge that these virtual items and currency hold no real-world value.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 All custom software developed by the Server, including but not limited to the custom plugin "Foundation," is owned by the Server and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Players are not allowed to share or redistribute any content from the Server without explicit permission from the content owner. Players must also notify the server owner when sharing or redistributing such content.

6.3 The Server acknowledges that some content created and shared by Players, including but not limited to text, builds, and screenshots, may be protected by intellectual property laws. The Server reserves the right to remove any content shared on the Server, with or without cause, at any time.

6.4 The Server will comply with DMCA takedown requests and all other legal requests as required by any and all applicable laws.

7. Modifications and Termination

7.1 Modifications: The Server reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of the Server including but not limited to features, gameplay, in-game items, and claimed land at any time.

7.2 Termination: The Server reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or ban any Player on the Server at its sole discretion, with or without cause, at any time. Players may also terminate their account at any time by ceasing to use the Server.

8. Disclaimer of Warranty

8.1: The Server is provided on an "as-is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent access to the Server.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1: Players join, access, and otherwise use the Server at their own risk.

9.2: Players agree to indemnify and hold the Server, its staff, and its affiliates harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of their use or misuse of the Server.
