  1. Server Commands

The Shop Command

You can use the /shop command to view all available shop commands. If you are standing in a shop, one of the available commands will be the /shop info command which can be used to show helpful information about the shop including the name of the shop, who owns the shop, how many plots have been claimed by the shop, the shop tax amount, and if the shop is for rent, for sale, or currently being rented. If the shop is available for rent, the rent amount will also be included in this information. Similarly, if the shop is for sale, the purchase price will be included in this information.

Creating Shops

Settlement owners can create a shop in their settlement using the /shop create command. Additional plots can then be claimed for the shop using the /shop claim command. There is no hard limit on the number of shops that can be created in a settlement, although shops must be separated from other homes, shops, and markets by at least one plot.

Saving Shops

You can save a shop on the server using the /shop save command which allows you to conveniently teleport back later using the /shop list command. Shops that you manage will also be included in this list. There are two types of shop managers: owners and renters. If a shop is being rented then the manager of the shop is the shop renter, otherwise the manager of the shop is the shop owner.

Changing Shop Names

All shops on the server have a unique name which, by default, indicates when the shop was created. Shops can be renamed by the current shop owner using the /shop rename <name> command as long as the shop is not actively being rented by another player. Shop residents can teleport to their shops using the /shop spawn <name> command.

Changing Shop Spawn Locations

Shop owners can use the /shop setspawn command to change the spawn location of their shop as long as the shop is not actively being rented by another player.

Renting Shops To Other Players

Shop owners can allow other players to rent one of their shops using the /shop rent <amount> command. You can stop renting the shop to other players using the /shop stoprenting command as long as the shop is not actively being rented by another player.

Renting Shops From Other Players

You can start renting a shop that is for rent using the /shop rent command while standing in the shop. Using this command will charge you the first day of rent, with each additional day of rent being collected by the server automatically every 24 hours. Rent is paid to the current shop owner. You can stop renting the shop as a resident at any time using the /shop stoprenting command.

Selling Shops To Other Players

Shop owners can sell their shops to other players using the /shop sell <amount> command. This command allows other players to purchase the shop for the specified amount, called the purchase price. You can stop selling one of your shops for sale using the /shop stopselling command.

Buying Shops From Other Players

You can purchase a shop that is for sale using the /shop buy command while standing in the shop. Using this command will charge you the purchase price which is transferred to the balance of the shop seller, at which point ownership of the shop will be transferred to you.

Reclaiming Shops

The server automatically collects taxes from shop owners which are paid to the settlement owner. If the shop owner fails to pay this tax, the settlement owner can choose to reclaim ownership of the shop from the current shop owner using the /shop reclaim command.

Locking Shops

You can lock all of the plots claimed by your shop using the /shop lock command and unlock all of the plots claimed by your shop using the /shop unlock command. Locking a plot prevents other players from interacting in the plot, while unlocking a plot allows certain interactions, such an opening doors and pushing buttons, but does not allow players to place blocks, break blocks, or access any kind of protected storage such as chests, armor stands, or item frames.

Deleting Shops

Shops owned by the settlement owner can be deleting using the /shop delete command. Shops can only be deleted if doing so would not violate the settlement limits, otherwise some of the limited blocks placed within the shop need to be removed before the shop can be deleted.

Shop History

The server keeps track of when a shop manager changes. This happens when a player buys a shop, starts renting a shop as a manager, or stops renting a shop as a manager. You can view the history of who has previous managed a shop using the /shop history command. Note that this command was added about two years after the server launched, so the shop history may be incomplete.

Shop Trades

The server keeps track of which shop trades have been used recently and makes this information available to players via the /shop trades command. Shop manager can use this to see which items may need to be restocked, and can reset this list using the /shop trades clear command.

Removing Entities

Shop managers can use the /shop clear items command to remove all of the items that have been dropped on the ground from all the plots claimed by their shop. Similarly, shop managers can use the /shop clear animals command to remove all unnamed mobs from their shop. You can use the /shop clear pets command to remove named mobs from your shop.

Shop Limits

You can use the /shop limits command to see the limits for the shop that you are in.
